Attractions: Zhu Family Garden Confucious Temple, Mouth of Tiger Rice Terrace, Qingkou, Bada and Duoyishu Mountain Village of Hani People
Day 01:Arrival/Kunming
Upon your arrival at Kunming, "the Spring and Flower City", our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 02: Kunming(B+L)
In the morning, visit West Hill, take the cable car to the Dragon gate and Dian Lake. Drive to visit Stone Forest, about 90 km from Downtown Kunming.
*Stone Forest is located in Shilin County, 89 kilometers from Kunming. The area, covering 350 square kilometers, is the highest karst terrain in the world and a national scenic area in China.
Day 03: Stone Forest/ Yuanyang(B+L)
Drive to Yuanyang in Honghe Prefecture.
Day 04: Yuanyang(B+L)
Visit Qingkou, Bada and Duoyishu Mountain Village of Hani People. Visit Mouth of Tiger Rice Terrace in the later of the day.
*Ponding technique also has a higher capacity for flood control: peak flows during heavy rains are reduced because the field bunds have a high water storage capacity. The layer of water due to ponding in rice cultivation minimizes weed growth and thus also the need for herbicides and manual weed control. The permanent presence of water on the field also generates percolation of water and groundwater recharge, which is often beneficial for other types of water use.
Day 05: Yuanyang /Jianshuig(B+L)
Drive to Jianshui175KM - 5 hrs, visit Zhu Family Garden, Confucious Temple.
*Jianshui county, has a total area of 20,000 square meters and a floor space of 5,000 square meters , This grand complex is a typical local residence with distinctive features .As it was built by Zhu Chaoying and his brother in the late Qing Dynasty.
Day 06 : Jianshui/Kunming(B+L)
Drive back to Kunming, free time on the rest of the day. Recommend you to walk around the Jinmabijifang Street, and try some local food - delicious rice noodle soup.
Day 07: Kunming / Departure(B)
Visit to the Flower Market in the morning, free time till to transfer to airport for your flight your next destination.
